This week was the fourth episode of Daybreak for the spring of ‘25. For my stories, I reported on the tariffs that were introduced to Canada and Mexico and the day when Pittsburgh’s Latin community shut down their doors in protest to ICE.
This week was the first episode of Daybreak for the spring of ‘25. For my stories, I reported on the Wild Card round that showcased the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens game. For my second story, I reported on the new Pittsburgh Walk of Fame accepting nominations for their first showcase!
This was not my first time on the show, but my first time hosting it. For my story, I talked about how JD Vance was refused service at a local Primanti Bros. in Pittsburgh. I further adlibbed and conversed with the other hosts and their stories.
